PRIVATE TEACHING PHILOSOPHY: To encourage life-long learning through modeling. To motivate and promote self-confidence and performance excellence through selecting obtainable yet challenging repertoire. To provide a relaxed, student focused environment to facilitate and nurture critical thinking skills and inspire a love for music.

I strongly believe in maintaining an environment that is built on respect and honesty and I customize my lessons to meet the needs of each student. I strive to maintain balance in lessons so that the student is enjoying the art of music throughout their intensive technical study. My students are required to listen and practice regularly and arrive at their lessons prepared.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Instruction consists of weekly private violin lessons in which repertoire, note reading, technique, practice skills, and musical literacy are emphasized. Lessons are 30, 45 or 60 minutes

45 min lesson = $70
1 hour lesson = $80
